Removing Clutter

I was catching up on my RSS feeds tonight and browsing the web in search of something good and interesting to talk about -- I feel mentally drained today. However, I hit upon this Dilbert strip, I was reminded about something I read recently that I thought was simple but great advice with regards to writing.

In a previous post, I mentioned a book that I am reading is [On Writing Well](http://search.barnesan dnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9780060891541&itm=1). In one of the early chapters, the topic is about removing clutter. This hit home with me. I am a big offender in the area of using too many words to make my point. It’s a little harder with a blog to focus on this as the rhythm and style of posting on a blog is one of first drafts with little to no proofing.
