Index Friendly GUIDs

I was looking for an index friendly way to use a GUID in SQL 2005 tonight and found that there is a new function that can be called as part of the table definition -- as a default value. The function is NEWSEQUENTIALID() and this works by creating GUIDs that are numerically sequential to one another allowing them to be inserted into a table and cluster index without the high risk of page splits that a non sequential clustered index would lend itself to.
