Brainstorming Topics for a Book

A while back I posted on my desire to tackle a book project on a topic that I am passionate about. I still have not given up on the notion of writing my first book, in fact, I have made the first steps in contacting Apress to begin discussing ideas and brainstorming topics that interest me.

My interests are wide ranging, but center on the Microsoft stack as well as software engineering topics like SDLC, and patterns and practices. I love Team Foundation Server and all the different areas it offers to explore and go deep on. SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services and Integration Services is another fascinating tool and solution space to cover. These topics certainly have been covered by other authors in different ways, but maybe there is a new angle that hasn't been examined that would be a worthwhile pursuit.

Any ideas out there of a topic you'd like to see covered?
