Not sure if this is new or I just missed some sort of announcement or meme in
my blog reading but I just noticed that not only does my account now have
almost 5 GB of storage, but I have the option to purchase more.

I didn't make it to to a couple o the sessions today, but the the ones I did
go to were more enlightening, while not as inspirational as yesterday. Just
different styles of presentation, really. Both days have been excellent and I
hope to hear most of all the speakers again sometime.

I am not a big conference-goer, primarily because I am not big into travel.
However, I find myself at the Business of Software
Conference in San Jose, CA and think it
well worth the trip.

I have been a really big fan of Fred Thompson, but after getting to know Mike
Huckabee a bit better (watch the interview videos below), I am like preferring
the former governor of Arkansas, no not THAT governor :).

Just cashed in my Apple Store Credit for my overpriced iPhone (the price of
early adoption wasn't cheap this time). My somewhat "free" loot was a copy of
VMWare Fusion and the new USB slim keyboard.

The point of source control and other configuration management tools is to not
only not get in the way of getting things done, but to enable more parallelism
on a software team. A lot of times we (technologists, err geeks) can get
caught up in tool selection, modification, and hyper-configuration.

I have started a couple of new projects on Google Code. These are primarily
just Python libraries that wrap web service APIs for two services I hope to
write some mash ups for my personal use.

Tonight I ran into an old familiar "bug" that I have wrestled with for awhile
but never taken the time to figure out a solution. It occurs when
accessing/listing keys that exist on Amazon S3 via
boto and a few other S3 libraries.
