A couple of weeks ago, I announced the pyfogbugz
will, when complete, serve as a python wrapper around the FogBugz API. I have
had very little time to spend on it recently so it has not progressed much at
all. However, one feature that I have added recently is the ability to use the
simple BugzScout interface for submitting bug reports.

Most of my link gathering is done these days on the iPhone. Whether it is
finding gems in Twitterific,
reading a cool article I want to store as a reference in
Byline (RSS Feeds via Google
Reader), or just regular Safari browsing.

Ok, partially a rant, but I feel entitled since I have figured out a quick and
dirty solution to the problem of working with a database that has the default
text encoding of latin1_swedish, or latin1.

This morning I find myself caught between a number of different emotions:
disappointment in America's choice for her next leader, pride in America
slamming the door shut on her historical stains of bigotry and racial
inequality, relief that elections are finally over, and hope that President-
elect Obama might live up to some of the platitudes in his rhetoric while not
being successful in some of his other goals.
