Apparently I am not the only one who has switched from PC to Mac.
MacWorld reports:
During the quarter, Apple shipped more than 1.7 million Macs, a 33-percent rise over the what it shipped in the third quarter of 2006 and 2.5 times the industry-wide growth rate published by market-research firm IDC.

Be careful with data, it can be misleading. The increase in sales does not necessarily mean that people are switching from PCs to Macs. To make this claim, you would have to present data showing a corresponding decline in PC sales. For all we know, there could be an increase in both PCs and Macs due to the increasing population and greater use of computers in general.
