Plantar Fasciitis

I woke up this morning at 6:00 AM to do what I want to be my morning routine (it's only been three days) of spending some time in God's Word (trying to desperately catch up in my One Year Bible -- behind by several months) and running 3 to 4 miles.

As soon as my feet hit the floor this morning and I tried to stand up, I had sharp pains in my left heel.  They gradually loosened up after an hour or so, but it sure was painful.  I opted to just read my Bible and put the running to see how it feels after a day of rest.  I thought it might be Plantar Fasciitis as I remember reading about this in one of the many running books I have read in the past couple of months.  That's exactly what it is -- and I am glad to know that it is fairly common and not serious at all.
